API Suggested Diesel Pump Labels
Compliant with EPA 40 CFR 80.570

• Titles of all labels are in the 24-point type as required by the EPA.
• Green is chosen as the background for the first two labels because of its strong association with diesel in the
  gasoline service station network.
• The actual size of the labels using Futura Extra Bold Condensed fonts for the titles is approximately 3.75"W x 3.25"H.
• Labels shall be on the upper two-thirds of the pump in a location where they are clearly visible
• Pumps must be labeled by June 1, 2006.
